Welcome to the HereToTalk® Training

Where barbering meets

After losing a friend to suicide in 2014, founder Tom Chapman Hon LLD decided to make a difference. Drawing on his network of barbers from years of cutting hair on stages around the world, he created a unique project that combined men’s haircuts with mental health messaging. What started as a simple lookbook of images evolved into a life-saving training program that has impacted lives globally.

HereToTalk and Lions Barber Collective is more than just a barbering organisation – it’s a movement. Our award-winning training program teaches people how to have safe and confident conversations with those struggling with mental health, connecting them to the support they need. Recognised by royalty, the Prime Minister of Great Britain, and multiple award bodies, our mission has garnered attention and support from all corners of the globe.
